The estimating engine is purpose-built for tree work. Species-specific crew calculations, hazard crew planning, equipment presets, and a Bid Summary that shows you your actual profit margin before you send anything.
Every other field service platform makes you build a tree estimate from a blank line-item form. EstimatorPRO starts with 189 tree species, 12 service type presets, and 65 equipment items pre-loaded with rates. The app calculates crew size and estimated hours based on what the tree actually is and what service you're doing. You verify, adjust, and send.
Select any tree species from the dropdown. The app knows the common name, scientific name, and uses the species and service type combination to suggest crew size and estimated hours. A 36-inch DBH white oak with full removal is calculated differently from a 10-inch ornamental cherry with deadwood pruning. No other tree service software does this.
Full removal, canopy trim, deadwood removal, crown reduction, stump grinding, emergency response, hazard removal, lot clearing, pruning, cabling, lightning protection, and view clearing. Each preset adjusts the crew and hours recommendation based on the tree's DBH and height.
The Bid Summary tab shows a complete breakdown: total direct costs, overhead percentage, contingency, markup, profit margin, tax, and final price. Enter your target profit percentage and the app tells you what to charge. Includes a markup guide for common job scenarios so you always know if you're leaving money on the table.
When the job involves power lines, traffic, or structures, add flaggers, spotters, or traffic control crew on the Hazards tab. Enter the number of people, hours on site, and hourly rate. The total calculates automatically and adds to the estimate. No other tree service estimating software has this because most weren't built by people who have worked near power lines.
