Two-Way SMS Inbox

How It Works

The SMS Inbox connects to a Twilio phone number you set up on your account. When you send a text through EstimatorPRO, it goes out from that number. When the customer replies, the reply comes back into the app and shows up in the threaded conversation for that customer. Your personal cell number stays private.

Setting Up Twilio

You need a Twilio account to use the SMS Inbox. Twilio is a phone number service that costs very little — typically $1 per month for the number and a few cents per message. Once you have your Twilio account SID, auth token, and phone number, paste them into EstimatorPRO's Company Settings and you're ready to go. The setup takes about 10 minutes.

Customers see a consistent business number, not your personal cell. Every message goes through the inbox so nothing falls through the cracks. When a new crew member joins, they can see the full conversation history and pick up exactly where you left off. No more "I texted you last week" problems.
